Our Mission
Our mission is to help children grow intellectually, socially and emotionally in order that they may learn to live as healthy, happy, responsible and respectful adults.

What began as a small, home daycare in 1951 has grown into three robust educational programs: Happy Hall Preschool, Happy Hall After School Clubs and Camp Happy Hall. Each one plays a unique and valuable role in shaping and caring for children from 18 months to 12 years old. Additionally, Happy Hall owner, Mary Lou Johnson, shares her expertise in childhood development and behavioral issues. She is our resident specialist who ensures each program implements optimal child development and care.

- Happy Hall Preschool upholds the California Development Guidelines for youngsters ages 18 months to 5 years. Our program offers opportunities for children to develop and learn through self-discovery, guided exploration and positive experiences. We encourage self-expression and awareness while emphasizing social skills, early communication and academic development at each child's own pace. We welcome the unique contributions that each child brings to our school.
